Apprenticeship

Happy Dog Training is currently accepting applications for its Dog Training Apprenticeship Program. Three types of apprenticeships are being offered.

1. Happy Dog's Traditional Dog Trainer Apprenticeship

This consists of exposure to all the elements of dog training, behavior and animal handling for the person with the goal of becoming a dog trainer or working in the pet care industry. This  apprenticeship involves group class and private lesson observation, assisting and actual instruction. It also involves written assignments not only in dog training but also in business procedures.
Cost $5,000

2. Dog Trainer Internship

This is designed for the student who would like to learn to be a dog trainers assistant or is looking to gain an unserstanding of the fundamentals of dog training and behavior as a hobby, as a way to better understand their dogs, or as a way to compliment their existing career in an animal related field.  The curriculum is similiar to but not as expensive as the full apprenticeship described above. Cost $1,000.
